Hallmark Channel
Overview
Hallmark Channel is a television station that provides family-friendly programming from original movies to a mix of popular television series. Hallmark Channel every quarter has special programming including movie specials, premiers, and marathons that they sell sponsorship packages to their clients. These sponsorship packages include billboards, tagged promos and vignettes. To assist in tracking the sales of these packages, Hallmark Channel contracted with an outside development team to build a custom application. The application was built on older technology and was no longer being supported by the company. Hallmark Channel was very interested in developing a new sponsorship management system that would be built in current technology and provide additional flexibility that the current application did not provide. Hallmark Channel contacted CPI Solutions to replace the custom-built application that is no longer supported with a new .NET application.
Challenges

To ensure notification emails are sent at specific intervals to only a select group of individuals both internally and externally and provide the flexibility to change notification lists on the fly. |
Solutions

A Team Site using Microsoft SharePoint was used to assist in collaboration between all the stakeholders. |

Design and build a complete sponsorship management application that was fully integrated with Hallmark’s Active Directory. |

Create a centralized application where various departments could access and obtain valuable information on the progress of the purchases and development of sponsorship ads. |
Results
| Through careful collaboration and planning, CPI created a new sponsorship management application that allowed various departments the ability to purchase and track the development of their sponsorship advertisements for movie specials, premiers, and marathons offered on the Hallmark Channel. |
