J.D. Power and Associates
Overview
The vision of the J.D. Power and Assoicates Power Information Network (PIN) corporate web site initiative was to provide a marketing tool and portal for current customers to access up-to-date company and product information via the Internet. PIN would be able to update sections of the site via an administrative module (CMS) to keep content current.
Challenges

Create a look and feel to accurately reflect PIN’s branding. |

Develop a site that is "low maintenance," so content can be easily updated by a limited number of staff resources. |

Created specific calls to action to drive users to the enrollment section through the use of product teasers and graphic callouts. |

Developed a content management system to manage frequently updated sections of the site such as Products, Enrollment Forms, and Testimonials. |
Results

Design – Used stylish visual elements of the driving experience in the compositions to attract attention and properly reflect PIN's corporate branding. |

Usability – Created intuitive navigation structure and DHTML menus to all users to quickly navigate to important site sections. Also used strong graphical calls to action. |

Content management system – Created ability for three (3) levels of administrators with different publishing rights to successfully manage site content. |
